Only have read 3 books from 1994, but I loved this one, despite disliking everything else by Murakami I have read.

Hey /lit/
Some time ago i decided to read this book, because i had heard it mentioned as Haruki Murakami's greatest work. But now i have read till about page 450, and i can't stand it anymore. It has to be the most long-drawn book i have ever read. I think that some parts of the book was very good and promising, but then you have to hear the background-story of every minor character, and every little thing has to be described in details. I simply don't have the patience to read the rest of this book.
Am i the only one who feels this way?
