What are some nice places to discuss philosophy? I have been on the biggest discord servers one could be - such as the Politics server [here is the link for those which are ignorant of the server: https://discord.gg/politics] -, but I feel like this medium has plateaued in the sense of what I could learn. You can find a lot of college educated people in the server, and thus the conversations are better than average, but I feel like most of their acts of speech are backed up by post hoc rationalizations of snippets of text they got from a random article on JSTOR when they are asked for evidence.

Is there a place where I can converse with people that actually read and like reading? By reading I mean those which actually read books, articles, essays, that is, things that one can derive technical or rigorous perspectives.

The medium of conversating can be by text or voice. I would just like to clear my thoughts by having people to talk to who could correct my misunderstandings and recommend literature.

Many thanks
