This is the same stupid ass argument given by Pascal when he asked “what prophecies are there for Muhammad’s coming?” though he himself wrote that none of the Old Testament prophets were foretold in praise of Jesus, who was foretold. This is not to say that there are no foretellings of Muhammad (pbuh), but how can you reject him for not being foretold and yet you accept an entire pantheon of prophets who also werent? Like Noah, Abraham, Moses, Lot etc, peace be upon them. The answer is that Christians have forgotten what prophethood is. They have brought it down to mere textual things like typology and general scripture, when being a Prophet means that you are someone who has received knowledge from God concerning the true religion, which is against idolatry, and is against all indecencies, and is pure submission to God alone. This is Islam. You cannot reject Muhammad without rejecting the other prophets because their message and mission was one in the same. You reject him only because he goes against the teachings of the self-acclaimed apostles who wrote testimonies that can be thrown away. You cannot reject the testimony of a prophet, which is akin to the testimony of God.

What are some good moralists? Aside from the obvious ones (Pascal, La Bruyère) of course.
I realised that what I'm writing has a very clear moralist tone and I want to continue that path.
