I really fucking wish I could write slop. So many people out there making the laziest, most low effort slop possible, and feeling good about it, feeling invested in it, making money off of it. Meanwhile, I torment myself reflecting on just how much work it would take to make my story good. If only it was slop. If only. Then I could rest easy, and gain fame, and money too.

I see your point however; the shit with pastors abusing their power is on steroids in Protestantism. The one I was raised in practiced "christian hedonism" where the reformed pastors openly justify it.

I haven't read much of his manifesto but what I have makes me feel very similar to him. He's persona was a sham designed to hide his insecurities and he was deeply hurt by societies attitudes to mixed race boys compared to girls. Honestly I just wish he was alive so that we could both see whether it does get better or not for hapa's.
