I rate this thread 9/11 actually got a response out of me.

/lit/'s problem is not misunderstanding Nietzsche, which would be a honest mistake because his philosophy is not monolithic; the problem is far more cowardly. /lit/ refuses to take the time to read Nietzsche on the grounds that they understand him (though they spout sweeping claims in the next second that betrays their ignorance) or that he does not deserve their time. This is an intellectual weakness because it communicates a laziness from seeking out personal truths for themselves.

"The will to truth that still seduces us to take so many risks, that famous truthfulness of which all philosophers so far have spoken with respect: what questions this will to truth has already laid before us! What strange, wicked, questionable questions! - Suppose we want truth: why not rather untruth? And uncertainty? Even ignorance?"
