I think Tolle is a bit of a pseud, but he did have an actual mystical experience that ended his depression, so maybe give his book a shot.

what does /lit/ think about Eckhart Tolle?

I read pic related's book, and although most of it was superficial new agey rather than more deep metaphysics, i am fascinated by the epiphany that he had, that suddenly dragged him out of depression and gave him a sense of purpose in the world. Are there other works that deal with similar events, whether they are spiritual or not?

Also why does he look like a chinaman when he's German? Too much alcohol?
