My novel is basically what if every conspiracy theory is real and the world really is turning into a surveillance state with FEMA death camps. I'll do it in a way that it's left morally ambiguous though, the government are collectivists that believe that the only way for mankind to survive is to destroy all the surplus people so the survivors can live well. I've also got a rebel group based off people like Tim McVeigh who are a "don't touch mah freedoms" sort of people. It will be like a version of Deus Ex that actually makes sense.

I'm actually enjoying this -- if only I knew of more cool archaic groups and societies. I think the whole story will end up being a mash-up of historical events and organizations; one huge deep and edgy conspiracy adventure.
