Everything is discussed openly on the Internet and every poster claims the right to have an opinion on any and all questions. One is a turboautist, the other schizo, one an employee, the other an employer, a capitalist, a socialist, a democrat, an aristocrat. There is nothing dishonorable about choosing one side or the other of a question. Discussions happen in public and where matters are unclear or confused one settles it by argument and counter argument. But there is one problem that is not discussed publicly, one that it is delicate even to mention: the Normie question. It is taboo in our society.

The Normie is immunized against all dangers: one may call him a cuck, retard, wageslave, profiteer; it all runs off him like water off a raincoat. But call him a Normie and you will be astonished at how he recoils, how injured he is, how he suddenly shrinks back: “I’ve been found out.”
One cannot defend himself against the Normie. He attacks with lightning speed from his position of safety and uses his abilities to crush any attempt at defense.

Quickly he turns the attacker’s charges back on him and the attacker becomes the liar, the incel, the terrorist. Nothing could be more mistaken than to defend oneself. That is just what the Normie wants. He can invent a new lie every day for the enemy to respond to, and the result is that the enemy spends so much time defending himself that he has no time to do what the Normie really fears: to attack. The accused has become the accuser, and loudly he shoves the accuser into the dock. So it always was in the past when a person or a movement fought the Normie. That is what would happen to us as well were we not fully aware of his nature, and if we lacked the courage to draw the following radical conclusions:

>I don't read translations because the original prose gets lost through a translator

Is that a valid argument?

>There is no hard problem, you know that there's a subjective experience of what it's like to be you. Therefore, you can assume that there's a subjective experience of what it's like to be me. Bam, problem solved.

I didnt major in philosophy in uni but I wish I had in hindsight. I felt a lot like you. Philosophy is wasted on the young. Give yourself 5-10 years and then come back.

I started reading only what philosophy interested me (my personal goal was to read the great ancient westerns and easterners prior to and during the hellenistic era to find out if there were common ideas even more ancient that were universal to all cultures). The second I didn't like it I put it down. Really soon I found I was just interested in everything as I asked myself more questions and now I have read a TON of just everything.

It has truly helped my ability to understand the world and live my life, but I wouldn't have been able to get it all 10 years ago.
