We affirm that the world’s magnificence has been enriched by a new beauty: the beauty of speed. A racing car whose hood is adorned with great pipes, like serpents of explosive breath—a roaring car that seems to ride on grapeshot is more beautiful than the Victory of Samothrace. Should I start writing a diary? I've thought about it for a while, but I feel like I have nothing interesting to write about. Of course, only writing when I feel like it's worth to write could be an idea, but I feel like it would be too easy to accidentally drop the habit if I only write two-three times a month.
