Imagine a more dubious and superfluous question than one in which an autonomous and sentient being calls into question the validity of their autonomy and sentience.

The presupposition ignored being that there is an inherently recognized value in autonomy and sentience.

Since you are obviously a part of the reality you are in, this notion of value belonging to your mere self, or the integrated self with the whole, being absolute self, must confer a fundamental truth of this alleged value. Thus your experiences of autonomy and awareness must be worthwhile.

You wouldn't value your sentience or autonomy if reality did not dictate such. If your sentience and autonomy are a result of the natural processes of reality then the circut completes itself. There is no puppetry here without a lack of perception.
