I need help finding a book, but I can't quite figure out how to Google it. It's basically about this guy who wishes to remain young, but tragedy strikes around him (like his actress girlfriend killing herself), and there's a painting of him that grows uglier and uglier as each tragedy happens. Sorry for the vague details, but I only remember having to read a screenplay of the book back in middle school and barely remember much of it.
