What's the scariest book you've ever read? For me, it's Stephen King's, 'Salem's Lot'. The atmosphere from start to finish was one of despair, and there doesn't seem to be a glimmer of hope throughout. It made me never want to read another Stephen King novel again. The book made me feel empty and scared in a way a novel has never done before.

I think it’s his best book (though he’s really much better at short fiction)
