Realizing I will die made me happier with life. The thought of existing forever bothers me more. I hope there is no existence after death, of if there is, it is free from the horrors of entropy.

The laws made it impossible to hide from modernity. The internet gave people with unorthodox ideas to hide, but it too is being standardized and stamped out.

Everyone is an irony saturated shitposter now. Even top shelf grads from rigorous programs spend all day posting esoteric memes about whatever philosophy they follow. Nobody takes themselves or anything else seriously anymore, they talk highly about revolutions and accelerating even though they ultimately don't do anything other than talk about it. Even people who believe that technology and social media were mistakes do this; see all the Tedposters and Debordposters. This makes me sad for some reason.

Probably describes most millenials who are fascinated with science but got liberal arts degrees and get their knowledge from people like Neil Degrasse Tyson and other hacks. This is why they like shows like Rick and Morty so much, and a large part of why R&M is the most Reddit show of all time.

I have no idea what I'm doing desu. I'd much rather be studying the arts or something. I can't see myself doing anything in 15 years time. Maybe a professor of English would be cool, but I don't know.
I only chose BA because it's broad and applicable to many areas, but I don't really give a shit about it. I don't know what to do

Is it a dick move to not show up to a wedding?
It's almost 3 hours away, and I'm the only person I'll know there other than the groom, who I haven't even spoken to in like 5 months
