When you look at the early christ hymn in romans and the one in Acts it looks like they believed that jesus was ascended to the status of god's son with the resurrection. This may seem very divine but look at 2 Samuel where god calls David his son again in an adoptive sense.
This might be the closest real historical religion that matches what you want.
