It's the greatest novel of the 20th Century, and Joyce is a genius, but I am 100% certain he wrote whole passages of it with his dick in his hand. "Nausicaa" comes to mind, along with the fetish stuff in "Circe."

And by God, it worked. By the end of Gertie's scene in "Nausicaa" I wanted to wank off to that crippled slut too.

For those who have read Ulysses, who did you want to fuck more: Gerty or Molly?

I'm going to make it, Anons. I'm going to get my MA in English Literature and I'm going to contribute to the Academy in a meaningful way.

Pic related, my thesis is on Ulysses.

Ulysses kind of does this with "Circe," which has as many pages as the first eight episodes of the book combined.

I feel like not nearly enough attention is paid to the fact that this book is horny as fuck. I'm dead serious, there are multiple sections where it feels like Joyce was writing with his dick in his hand. "Nausicaa" definitely, but also parts of "Circe."

Stephen Dedalus would be a tripfag here on /lit/ and we would all fucking hate him.

A deeply horny book.

Seriously, I'm going through Ulysses for the third time now, and I'm starting to think that maybe all the objections to it along the lines of decency and public morality kind of had a point. There are huge swaths of the book that are, frankly, erotic. "Nausicaa" is a big one, but big chunks of the book have this sexual air, whether the principle characters are female or male.

There are huge chunks of the book where it really does feel like Joyce typed them one-handed with his other hand firmly grasped around his dick. A decent amount of "Ulysses" feels pornographic, even when the action taking place is, in theory, rather mundane.
