I hate cowards too afraid to make leaps of any kind. Even if it started raining frogs outside their house they wouldn't dare mention it unless it was acknowledged by others first and that they wouldn't end up associated with the 'wrong kind' of people for believing in such bizarre occurrences.

against acting, actors, fiction for fiction's sake, and a denial of realness and life through dunking your head into the escapist and controlled representational.

like many i have spent half my life daydreaming. in the past, in many cultures, actors and their implications were not respected yet for the past century they and those similar but appearing in different disciplines (think people like public 'intellectuals' and vloggers) are given the most respect and following. are there any writers that condemn this kind of life? im really tired of basically everything amounting to various small simplified fantasy worlds which they can duck into and signal their righteousness or funniness or uniqueness or ingroupedness or whatever within. im also really tired of people selling identities without realising what they're participating in, they believe in it so wholeheartedly it's cringeworthy how something so shallow and manufactured could elicit such fanaticism because their mental ecology ends up being just as shallow and manufactured. this, i think, is down to respect and belief in portrayal of life and events more so than for life and events taken as they are. obviously everything will be through representation given the nature of our minds and reality, but this is a different thing, most of it comes across as a framework to sell products through (products is the broadest of senses).
