If we are to consider the sensorial experience available to the reader between the pages of To The Lighthouse as sublime, methinks The Waves does it better.

I've done this before, but stopped it. Perhaps it will go the same
way here, perhaps not. It matters not. A journal is a sporadic creature.

What can be said really? She takes me with her eyelashes. This puffery, pure
and perfect - I hate it - but that does not defeat it. Ensnared, this is a word
which comes to mind. Her eyes like doe's eyes, do they dilate by me? Why this
torture? Why this obsession? And this to me is greatest weakness. Not the
string, but its consequence. Not the desire, but its waves. So here I sit,
late, writing self-piteous daggers to twist my wounds with. There is a
moral here but I cannot find it.

And I tell myself 'let go', 'let go', and try to understand the natural way of
things, that she and I will die __will__ die but still I cannot stop the mind
from its path. To stand in front is to be mowed down. I wish to know her. I
wish to see her unearthed, beneath the eyes, beyond the lips. Under the skin.
This, after two days, after a slight comment, after a half smile, after a weak
conversation, after a reluctant handshake. I shall salute her next time. If
there is one.

And as I write this the sepearation of the narrative does not elude me. I can
see myself, some time in the future perhaps, in better, less petty
circumstance, reading this and laughing. Shaking my future head - with less
hair (if genetics are to be believed) - and seeing what I was and knowing,
regardless of passing time, that this __was__ me, whatever I might be then.
Feeling, later, the consequence of my belief in inevitability, because of the
way my soul is grooved. To run upon iron rails, as Ahab's. Is it merely because
of scarcity that my heart leaps to her - for her? That my inexperience screws
my thumbs and by torture I come to love? How then do I learn to be true? I want
to speak plainly to her, I want to grab a limb and utter words like stones.
Terrible words. That she will want to pull away but cannot, though my hands
hold weak. And I want to be subtle. I want to her to guess, to suffer a
little. Does she? Who is she, really? To me? Am I not grand? Am I not huge?

But I know, and I have to believe that she does also. Meticulous planning will
not avail me. All is beyond my control. Mere anarchy. Loosed upon the world. I
shall tease her, I shall play the game too. And perhaps in all this I am blind
and dumb. So be it. I shall play the game. What is the end result? This
frightens me. But I shall play the game. Why am I trying to insert the fiction
into the reality? Will I gain by it? Shall the poetry be salvation? The map is
already marked, there are no mountains to discover, no unknown waterfalls. Was
it all then decided? I shall ask her the strange questions. I shall play the
game. Then she will understand me, and I will know. I shall not write letters.
I shall not pine. I shall not write poems.
I shall not be embarrassed.

*What I talk about in this text may be one of the most important pieces of information and one of the most important requests one could ever read.*

Everyone who reads this and chooses not to do the request should explain why they won't do the request so that, if possible, I will be able to address those concerns to make it so that someone is able to do the request.

First I will summarize the information to be able to more clearly discuss the request.

There couldn't have been an infinite amount of time before the present so there must have been a first event. Before the first event was nothing. How it went from nothing to the first event and the first event onto the second event and so on has been figured out. After figuring out what the events were that happened after there was nothing it is shown that there exists point-like places (p-lps) arranged in a pattern in 3 dimensions. Those p-lps are continuously created in a pattern in 3 dimensions outward from a few of the p-lps that exist at the center of the p-lps. There is also an awareness that is aware of the p-lps and that awareness will be called awareness#1 or a#1 for short.

A#1 and the p-lps are all that "fundamentally" exists. Since I and probably also you are not aware of p-lps like a#1 is, we must be the p-lps. We are aware of things. We must be made aware of things by a#1 or something a#1 created since we can't be made aware of things by other p-lps because the other p-lps aren't aware of the p-lps that a#1 is aware of so a p-lp couldn't do anything to another p-lp.

We are not only aware of things but we seem to be in a "system of existence" where we can interact with one another even though we were originally just p-lps not aware of anything. So a#1 or something a#1 created must be creating this "system of existence" where we are aware of the same world and can interact within it.

However, in this world we seem to be capable of no longer being aware of anything else, I'm talking about dying. However we still exist as p-lps that a#1 could make such p-lps aware of anything it wanted so the dying we see in this world doesn't necessarily mean that we will stop being aware of things.

Let's assume there are two propositions:
Proposition P: less than five people came to class.

Proposition Q: less than five people came to class and were happy.

Does Proposition P entail Proposition Q, i.e. If Proposition P is true, Proposition Q is necessarily true?

No matter the answer is yes or no, explain why please.

Thx.

I'm feeling a strange sensation towards God and the Bible and some aspects of the Christian faith recently. It sort of started when I was reading Don Quixote, oddly enough. The book's constant reference to the faith and all of the descriptions of it got me interested and almost made me desire it. I then started looking up the works of Kierkegaard, which also reinforced my feelings towards Christianity. I also took a walk this afternoon, and I almost teared up looking at nature, thinking that the world itself is almost like a God in itself. This is strange, because I've also been looking up the views of Nietzsche and feeling conflicted- it seems like Nietzsche's viewpoint makes more sense and is more logical, but concepts of Christianity are almost feeling like they're calling to me. Faith in something would give me some sort of meaning, help me to be a better person, give me some sort of thing to thank for my temporary life and the world I inhabit, and relieve me of some existential pain
