I get the creeping suspicion that I am a crypto-nihilist. I tried my best to turn the spiritual larp into reality but it's still based on meaninglessness and upheld by semantics. Is there a cure or am I eternally doomed?

And it's not like I'm looking for book obsessed nerds. It just seems like everyone in my immediate social circle just has absolutely no taste in anything or interest in anything interesting.

The whole point of Nietzsche is that everything is always a spook all the time and that's not always a bad thing. Spooks are essentially just a fundamental way that humans make sense of a senseless world.

The old spooks are dying and nobody knows what to do. When the old spooks are dead everyone is going to get depressed and nobody will have anything to keep them going and everything will be shitty. Eventually even that reaction against the old spook becomes itself a spook because we can never get away from them.

But great men will exist that realize that while everything is a spook we need spooks and will construct their own spooks that will lead them into great lives filled with things that give human life some meaning and purpose.
