How do I into Hemingway?

Back in school (English class, no native speaker) we read a couple of short stories by Hemingway and I really liked those.
I in particular enjoyed "A Clean Well-Lighted Place" (pic kinda related)

I thought about reading one of his novels and for the meantime a couple of short stories.
Can you guys recommend me something? What novel should I start with and what are your favorite short stories by Hemingway?

Let's try this again /lit/.

Write a very short piece of impressionistic flash fiction (no longer than one post) based on the topic or premise given by the person before you, then post a topic for the next person.

reply to the person whose premise you are using. critiques are welcome

I'll give the first one:

Three men sit at a table. One of them is deaf.
