Is democracy really so patronising?
Am I expecting too much?

Of course lust and love are a natural part of the human experience, absurd and abstract romanticisation of love are not an inevitable part of existence.

I don't think great writers need to resort to using societal perceptions when they talk about love. I think they ultimately pollute our understanding.
