Nonetheless, if encountered, I would report and expose them at risk of retaliation or even ejection from the program. This isn't a dream of mine so I have nothing to lose. The damage done from removing me for doing what is right would be much more disastrous for the church. I would go on to write to newspapers, websites, sympathetic prelature and factions within the Church, when all is said and done, the result hurting vocations and attendance much more than removing a handful of homosexuals from the seminary which would have gone unnoticed (or even applauded) by the faithful and only would have affected external liberal-secular perceptions of the Church.

He at least seems happy and he still can do something. Nonetheless he serves as an example that the system does not guarantee success on ability alone. It's determined by financial capital, social connection, etc. How many other Langans of this world were passed by throughout the untold passing of centuries? Indeed, even if such an statistical anomaly wades his way into wealthier circles, he is always an interloper and is resented in many cases. All but a rare few actually make it, and even then, most see the utter vanity in the external and how when you are unable to reach it it is just a nagging source of frustration and instead turn toward the internal.

The brainlet response to make themselves feel intelligent. Difficult to plan if you don't have any wealth, any connections and have to survive as a bouncer in obscurity---- college ambitions seem worthless in comparison to starving. It's like laughing at a starved lion in a cage, or seeing an Redwood tree that was planted in the poor conditions with little sunlight or water so it withered away and died. LOL STUPID LION AND STUPID TREE! He could have been something had circumstances been different.
