ww1 AND ww2 was basically a bunch of nietzschean germs getting their asses beat by real british and american empiricist muscle. turns out objective reality DOES exist, and rationality, not empty, raving emotion/"aesthetics" is the superior way of interacting with it. it doesn't matter how loudly you're listening to wagner and imagining yourself ascended above the masses.
