I am not a professional translator but there is this author who is kinda "taboo" in my country, so no publisher has the balls to translate any of his later works. I want to write a fan-translation and maybe put it on amazon as an ebook (because I dont have the money to create my own publishing company)

Of course I would ask him for permission first and demand no payment for myself. I'm wondering if amazon would accept fan-translations and if you heard of similar cases.

I have never read an English book, so people i'm begging you to give me a simple list of Intermediate English books to read.
