I think the most hilarious response to the Sokal response, at least for me, personally, is that Sokal, ostensibly a scientist, is doomed to have his name associated with little more than a meaningless hoax that—even if postmodernism is bunk, especially if postmodernism is bunk—will be discussed at most as a footnote in the annals of the history of philosophy.

You know what I hate about those stupid kids on /lit/ who bring up the death of the author every chance they get? They don't understand that the death of the author is a THEORY.

Even when the discussion has little or nothing to do with authorial intent, these fags will bring up DotA, and it makes them seem like they think it's a hard and fast rule that people sometimes forget, as opposed to a literary THEORY.

This also proves that most of these kids have never read, or didn't pay attention to while they read, Barthes's essay of the same title; if they were to look at the back of the book they were reading, they might see the word in the upper-left hand corner: "THEORY".

I even saw a post on /v/ earlier tonight wherein someone brought the death of the author up. As with memes, once your lack of critical understanding reaches other boards, it's time to hang up the mantle.
