The United States of America just needs to fucking die. It's a blight upon the world, especially a blight upon the West. I eagerly long for America collapsing inward on itself into civil war and balkanization. The United States is a verminous shitstain on the planet. I pray for its downfall, that God wills its destruction. The entire rest of the Western world, and a good chunk of East Asia, will be better off once America has ceased to exist.

>The problem of where to go is overrated when you haven't figured out how to leave where you are, and NRx wssn't willing to be honest about how to do that.

It's because they were all still too patriotic, and thus were blinded by the fact that the only way we move forward--whether "we" is men, Christians, the West, Europe, humanity in general--is by getting rid of the United States.

Any real future is going to HAVE to be a post-American future. The United States is the clog in the drain of history, sticking everything in place like Fukuyama's wet dream. The United States is going to have to be gotten rid of for a new era of history to dawn, and for things to start moving and growing and changing again. That is the flaw in NRx you mentioned; they were so caught up in "fixing" the United States that they didn't realize you CAN'T fix the United States in the way they want, because the United States is the source of all their problems to begin with.

Anyone hoping for a brave new world should be rooting for the downfall of the United States.

This just gets exactly at what I was saying in >>22044766 . IT'S ALL BULLSHIT. It's just another form of imperial control. Nothing has actually changed. The Romans thought their empire was for the good of the world. So did the Spanish. So did the British. How are the Americans any better? They're not, they just THINK they are.

If the United States is unique, it's unique in being a uniquely bad imperial hegemon because Americans are idiots who huff their own ideological farts. Even the British weren't this bad at believing their own bullshit. But America ACTUALLY BELIEVES it's spreading "liberty" and "equality" around the world, as it terrorizes South America and the Middle East.

It's fucking insufferable and it makes the United States uniquely hateable as an imperial power. Just rule the world and be done with it. Don't try and cover yourself in glory for doing so. The Romans had the right idea, just be an empire and don't waste our time justifying it.

Why do so many people fail to realize that the problem is America?

If you're looking for the source of the rot, it's right here. The coming apart of the social fabric, the shittiness of modern art, the emptiness of modern life, the loss of romance in the world, it can all be traced to this soulless bugheap of a country. I realized this years ago. Why don't more people realize that the United States isn't the solution to the problem, the United States IS the problem?

I have become increasingly convinced that the further movement of history depends on the destruction of the United States.

The United States is acting like a clog in the drain of history. It is the ultimate locus of both neoliberal capitalism and liberal democracy, and on these two matters history has become stuck. Fukuyama is on to something when he calls the American arrangement the "end of history."

But for anything new or interesting to happen America is going to have to be gotten out of the way. The entire reason that "nothing ever happens" is that these two dead ends of history are joined in the nexus of overwhelming financial, military, and cultural power that is the United States. If we want things to start happening again we are going to have to do something about America.

This is why the whole "America First" and "Make America Great Again" idea is a dead end. America can't be fixed because America IS the problem. It's the great problem of our time. The question is, what is the solution?

Why are we so bad about philosophy?
