My question was more about whether he'd put out anything readable recently. I greatly enjoyed Elantris and the first two Stormlights, but the rest of his works have been decent (Mistborn 1) to middling (everything else) to God-awful (Oathbreaker). I've heard good things about Wax and Wayne, but I didn't find the ending of the Mistborn trilogy very good, so I've not taken it upon myself to continue.
I had seen his kickstarter, but it was a while ago. Good for him, I guess. His publisher is probably seething. Why the hell this is happening is completely unfathomable to me though. It's like saying that my little corner pizzeria is suddenly hugely in demand all over the entire country. I guess Sandy's much more popular than I thought, but after Oathbreaker I really can't understand why that would be.
I feel like a boomer, fellow anons. I just don't get it.
