>watch an animu called Bungou Stray Dogs
>one of the main genocidal villains from last season apparently doesn't die
>gets found by a subordinate who clearly cares about him
>he clearly loves his waifu very much
>comes back to do something genuinely nice once in a while for a poor soul
>it's a fantastic and heartwearming episode

>read a book
>the only character I like dies because they're a villain and looked at the author the wrong way or they're a complete and terrible person so much that I don't even like them at all
