I actually just spent a good while thinking about it. Trying to put myself in his shoes. It's pretty terrifying to imagine it. Just think of the dropping feeling in your stomach at that point when you know you're going to die and you can't take back whatever action that made you slip. Thinking that in 20 seconds or less bodily destruction awaits. Just thinking "fuck, fuck, fuck" as you fall. Terrifying.
