I want to read the Philokalia but I can't afford to buy an entire collection, nor do I know if it will go over my head without reading some other writings first. Is there some translated anthology? If someone has experience with these writings I would appreciate it. I'm also interested in the parallels between Hesychasm and Buddhism.
