I worry this is too utilitarian a perspective for spiritual matters, but I want to ask: which religion should someone convert to in order to best protect their sanity?

I don't mean a religion that will make you feel perfect and happy, but just content and grounded, ideally reinforced by the presence of others. Something that provides a framework to stop inner-conflict.
