Lottery player here. I don't like being compared to this guy. First of all, he didn't play as much as me. He bought a powerball ticket here and there and then spent like $700 at once. All in all, he spent less then me. His express reason for wanting to win was vainglorious and for the express reason of women and human respect. He was also delusional in thinking he was bound to win. I accept the diminutive odds and the fact that I am mostly throwing money away. I do it solely for the chance at wealth in early life, which I would use to escape rather than escalate my status in the social spectacle. I would like 500 acres in New Hampshire, Northern Maine or Alaska and would just want to be left alone. Money would be used for projects and hobbies I always wanted to get into and I would be content with being left to my own devices. If I ever grew bored, I would go do the education that I had hitherto been barred from continuing (severe financial poverty, default, cost of prereqs, etc). I never had any bitterness toward women nor inability to attract them. I would take the vocel pill if I won or if I found a soul mate prior to winning, I would be content that way as well. If I don't make it by 35, I'm going to try to join a monastery and call it quits. If that's not possible, I would take an SBA loan out to inflate self employed equivalent of FICA so I could just hopefully get the SSDI maximum and retire then with $3050 a month.

Anyone else a compulsive lottery player? I used to have big dreams and ever since I became an adult and working with a decent salary and owning my own house I realized they're impossible. I was reading Don Quixote and the amount of how much men tried to get a woman was astounding. They would make sonnets and literally cry their eyes out about how beautiful the woman was, how virtuous and so on.
Nowadays these things are absent so a man has to lie, or just treat her as a cum dumpster, because that is what feminism turned them into, which they think is a function of the patriarchy.
Is Don Quixote historically accurate for its portrayal of courtship or is it just a work of fiction and men didn't do that back then either?
