>Joe inds out through the guy (Bob) who loves Jane that this happens, and her reasons for it

What happens next? Does Joe give out punishment? No punishment? Does it leak? Will others freak out that Jane isn't being hanged even though others in the court were planning on actually assassinating Joe? What happens to Bob? Is this just contrived drama?
I really wanted to bring Jane into this arc as a major plot-driving character but every time I try to write out this convoluted fake assassination stuff it always gets me tangled. The only thing good to come out of it is Jane and Bob got a rift between them as a precursor to their romantic get-together in the next installment.
Any advice from outsiders looking in?

Is it weird that you almost never see characters with the same name? Isn't it more realistic cause irl it's not that uncommon?

In europe by invading poland and in Asia by invading china of course! Naturally, the fascists committed countless crimes (butchering free Spanish peoples, saber rattling borders, invading Ethiopia, annexing parts of soverign states that surrounded them etc) beforehand, but those were mere preludes to their greater crimes.

what is the qualification of "failure?" Is it that the system gives way to capitalism? Is this then not a condemnation of capitalism and good reason to maybe try it again? Is it perhaps that it makes the lives of people under it worse? But capitalism is guilty of this charge on millions of accounts - the lives of many of the workers have in the past, and continue to be miserable in many ways.

I want to start reading philosophy but I'm completely lost on which order of content is better for me.
If you give me some cornerstones, checkpoints and goals to aim I'll be really thankful.
