its so well written and his emotions are so convincing that it is easy to forget he is talking about a little kid. this is the real accomplishment of the book in my opinion. i didn't get turned on by the book though, as it is more emotional than sexual. reading it felt to me like one of those dreams you wake from that were probably only a few minutes, but seem to be several years long
