I am also entertaining the idea of including dedicated critique channels as part of the discord. it seems like this could benefit those who want quality feedback without having to suffer the possibility of a thread dying or having to shill out a dummy email address or something.

really the idea behind this discord is to distill the best parts of this board down to their most qualified form and to further address any and all desires that anons might have for more committed/dedicated communities.

the discord and the greater project are fully open to whatever is most needed--let us brainstorm openly

What is your opinion and gnosticism?
What are good books to read that explore the idea of a demiurge and a prison reality that acts as a soul farm in a way? What is our end goal?

I don't really care for banishing rituals, sigils and all those /x/ stuff. I only support meditation and similar to it.

First year of uni
Until 8th grade I liked the sciences. A really good literature teacher came along and I soon started finding more meaning in it. Used to be a scrawny pale kid in an abusive group of ''friends'' who always forced me to get high off weed and then would proceed to humiliate me and belittle me. During 10th-12th grade I became really liked, really good sense of humor, hit the gym and realized I like history and politics. Girls liked me and openly showed interest in me but I'm afraid that it's all one big joke and the moment I let my guard down and show my true feelings I will be laughed at. Experimented with psychedelics (salvia, dmt, lsd), read a lot of hippie enlightenment stuff and I love to think about the stuff from back then.I am afraid of embracing life and actually committing to it. I have close friends, I work out, I have top grades, but I am not sincere with life in a way. First year in uni in an international law major and there's this girl that likes me and I like her as well. Afraid again. What do?

With the risk of sounding like a tree hugging hippie:
Any books that describe that psychedelic feeling of there being a higher-self/space concentrating a part of itself on this experience and its need to experience/play life? I guess something metaphysical.

Anyone else struggle with insecurities about what “state of mind” they’re in while reading? I always feel like I have to feel a certain enthusiasm every time I open a book or I’m somehow depriving myself of the full experience.

Is there a certain state of mind which allows for maximum aesthetic experience?
