Are there any books where the main character is a 25+ year old virgin or books written by a 25+ year old virgin

I've been out of writing for a lot, used to write shitty short sci-fi, horror and fantasy novels. They were bad. Now I want to get back with more serious things, stuff that helps me cope and is also nice to read for normal people (sci fi, horror and fantasy are okay, but I don't want to do just that), the problem is, I have a lot of emotions I want to convey into writing and I'm decent at writing them in a fluent way, however I can't find a story that sounds decent to me. I have a bunch of ideas but they all fall down once I realize how corny they'd be.

When I was a kid I scored a 140 on an IQ test, but I took one 2 years ago when I was getting my disability SSI and I scored an 89. :\

Am I stupid? Was I smarter as kid than I am now? Does IQ mean anything?

I mean, all I do is read philosophy like Kant and Schopenhauer and stuff. Is IQ bullshit or am I really below average?

what's the point of reading non-fiction?
I enjoy reading the literary classics, but sometimes I feel that I'm just wasting my time since the only lessons I'm getting from these are to write with a flamboyant vocabulary and some ambiguous social commentary. Should I focus on History, Philosophy, Psychology, etc, instead?
