If I had to take a guess I would say he's just perceptually blind to the highly subjective nature of his personal philosophy. May as well have just titled it Living With Depression or something gay like that, cuz none of this is true for a psychologically healthy person as appealing as it may seem from a perspective of pure rationality.

If you want to. It's only going to ruin your life or something like that if you're a brainlet. There's more cathartic and less heady works of ~doomerism~ you could read instead but all (or most) of them will be novels.

Is it really unresolved trauma that leads you to a life of distraction?

Doesn't suffering induce great art? Or is that a meme?

if you subscribe to the school of "on writing was his only decent book" then its very absence can be seen to "complete the meme" described by that image.

Self-conscious plebeian that I am,
I maximise the quantity of books that I cram,
Read Infinite Jest purely for the meme,
It's how plebs like myself prefer to be seen,
On the train.

Tangentially fantasy-related, but I want to add some horror to my diet.

Anyone got any real comfy horror, with a suburban or traditional manor setting? I was driving home tonight and all the unlit houses in the suburb were so cozy.

[ERROR]

I tried to start a thread discussing supplements, but it died out. In it, I mentioned supplements I own and want some stack advice on them.

Here is a copy/paste of the list (my proposed stack comes after the separation line):

Magnesium - 250mg (600t)
Zinc - 50mg (200t)
Vitamin B-6 - 100mg (300t)
Garlic - 2g (120t)
Fish Oil - 475mg (350t). Quote: Provides 300mg of Omega-3 Fatty Acids (as Ethyl Esters) including: 285mg EPA + DHA.
Vitamin C (incl. 15mg Rose Hips) - 1g (Unknown t)
Vitamin D3 in dropper form (1,000IU per droplet, unknown remaining quantity). It lasts quite long, at 590 droplet servings (1,000IU).
Creatine Monohydrate - 5g (Unknown remaining quantity)

=-----------------------=
=-----------------------=

I attempted to create a (non time-regimented) stack, which is as follows:

Garlic 1 tab (400mg, which is equal to 2g of fresh garlic bulb). (Consider upping to 2 tabs in the future if no changes/benefits.)
Zinc 1 tab (50mg)
Vitamin B-6 1 tab (100mg)
Vitamin D 5 drops (1,000IU/drop).
Vitamin C + 15mg rose hips 1 tab (1,000mg)
Fish Oil 1 pill (1000mg)
Creatine monohydrate 5g
glucoraphanin 1 pill (30mg)
Magnesium 2 tabs (250mg/ea)

I am attempting to ease my sinus and throat inflammation, increase my nitric oxide level/blood flow, improve quality of sleep/restoration, improve libido, and increase mental and physical clarity, among whatever else benefits I can receive from these products. My biggest concern is regarding the distancing of consumption (what to take when, what to avoid consuming before/after one supplement, etc. )

Any suggestions regarding a stack? Is anything redundant or unadvised? Anything I can expect? I am trying to aid my asthma beyond all else, but all aspects of my health are of concern.

Thank you.

I don't think so. I'm a social chameleon and can get along with pretty much anyone. The trouble is that I have no real friends, and have been single for about 2 years as well.

I may have a touch of the 'tism. No idea. I've been on a few dates but they're always a little awkward and never really go anywhere. The trouble is that, where I live at least, everyone is a colossal plebeian. This invariably means that in almost all my daily interactions, I have to dumb myself down to their level. In terms of the girls, I'm talking GoT/Harry Potter-loving alcoholics. In terms of the guys, I'm talking Marvel/DC-loving gamer morons.

My only 'friend' is my ex, who cheated on me. Found out on Christmas Eve, about 3 years ago. Pretty pathetic, heh. She gets me better than anyone, though.
