If you could punch one fictional literary character in the face, who would it be? Bonus points if it's a protagonist.

For me, it would have to be Julian from The Red and the Black. He was such an insufferable bastard, and in spite of that, he was still given the opportunity to have an amazing life, and he threw it away because he wanted to be le edgy seducer
