What do fables (in the form of song, books, and plays) teach us? It doesn't teach us the sundry things of sundry lores, of course. Does it broaden our understanding of the ways of man? Does it widen our thoughtwit on the lives of men? If that's the case, then its boons are endless, and we cannot have a right moot around it.
