This is the chassis of western philosophy. Locke and Aristotle are also helpful for Kant.

The rest is a matter of taste. The cool thing about philosophy is that you're very quickly shown many potential avenues of study, everything you read leads you somewhere else, and you'll naturally end up where you ought to end up.

This is antithetical intellectual pursuits.
The moment sexual arousal begins, hypofrontality ensues, and you are left distracted. If acted upon, prolactin rises and you become drained and tired.
Worse, you begin to associate the act of reading with sexual arousal, which will be remember and will maladaptively unfold whenever you really need the brain power to study and think. If I had a gun to my head, whether to intravenously inject a syringe of chemically pure heroin around at around 15mg BID for a week or "read" erotically stimulating material, I would without hesitation rather go with the heroin. I am not destroying and further associating what were previously innocuous words with sexual arousal, and undermining my ability to read efficiently forever. I can avoid arousal if I stumble on a pornographic picture and quickly dismiss it. Even with images and video of pornography sites blocked 100%, reading the text or even typing the name of a pornographic actress, is enough to lead toward a frenzied arousal.
Thus, erotic material, by it's very function, can never be a good read, as it distracts from the very mindset needed to read and appreciate literature.
