Oh dear, here we go /lit/. A school project, write a beast fable.
This is mine so far, I'm almost done. I know you're going to bitch, but how is it? Remember, this is only an Alpha copy, I haven't really edited it much yet.

Stabbing his beak into the soil, the Crow rummaged around, and pulled out a worm. Not realising it, the earth from around the worm fell into the nearby river, and started following the current on its chaotic path.
Looking around, the Crow see’s the soil go down the river, but does not think much of it, “The rivers so big, and there’s so little dirt, it doesn’t matter” he thought. Continuing on his adventure, the Crow pecked and dug for days on end, resting only to bury his spoils.
Early one morning, the Crow saw something unusual on his food grounds; a family of hedgehogs. “Sir?” the Father hedgehog said, “Are you by any chance putting soil into the river?”
“No, of course not my prickly friend, good heavens no.”
“Well, as you might know, our family has had to leave our home down the river...It’s become so contaminated, we can’t even get our daily supper.”
