Pretty sure the guy is a washer for mafia money or something, he owns several villas in Italy, starts businesses without any plan that somehow manage to make barrels of profit, despite being persona non grata in the industry he gets shittons of editing work, etc.

I'm going on a trip alone tomorrow for an undetermined amount of time.

Anoy suggestions on what I should bring or try to bring?

I plan on spending my time reading as much as I can.

I've decided on a few books so far:

The Dwarf by Par Lagerkvist
The Siren by Dino Buzzati
