Tell me what's up with this. Is it some sort of psy op operation taking over society? Ennui and disaffection with a dying world grasping for an easy way out? Compulsive category makers?

Everywhere you turn someone is talking about psychiatry. All the people I know are on either zoloft or klonopin or lexapro or xanax or prozac or whatever. On the wiki page for borderline personality disorder it says Edvard Munch may have been borderline, as in his personality would have been fixed by doctors had he been around today.

And everyone is so manipulative when it comes to this. Depression is a Serious Issue. Anxiety in Kierkegaard is mental preperation for real life change. In psychiary it's a disorder. Am I missing something?
