I made this thread on pol but it got spammed with shills and bots. Hopefully it can survive longer here. I'm going to copy and paste some of the descriptions from the old thread but this will basically become self evident once this is understood.

For those with ears to hear:
The first thing that needs to be explained is how the capital letter "I" or the roman numeral "1" is a symbol for both identity and the trinity. When you have a chair you have (1) an observer with a goal (something to sit on), (2) the noumena without form, and (3) the transformative connection between the two that renders the object perception. In other words, you have the provider of function, performer of function, and the relationship between the two that forms the identity relation (the top, bottom, and vertical line that connects them in the I). This is also how the trinity works: god the Father provides function, the Son performs it, and the Holy Spirit is the transformative connection that causes the Son to be in a constant state of ascension. This isn't to say the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit aren't one and the same, they are because they are each perfectly self-similar, which is extremely important. The Christ is the universal pattern of self-similarity which is why the Son and the Father are equal (think of the Jungian Self and the Ego being in perfect harmony).

What is the best argument for Christianity being true over Paganism (Germanic, Hindu, Egyptian, etc.) while also explaining the origins and validity of these ancient religions. Book recommendations appreciated.

This question might not belong ITT but I don't think it qualifies for its own thread and I need some insight.

Two years ago I did MDMA during a party at a friend's house. This was my second time doing M. After taking it I waited an hour and didn't feel anything so at the recommendation of a friend who I thought was experienced I took a booster dose. This was too much, and when it finally kicked it it felt good for about two minutes before I started to feel like I was overdosing. My vision was a rupturing earthquake, my body high felt more than intense and I believed I was dying. In that moment I decided I didn't want to call for help or let anybody know and said to myself "I'll let God decide". Immediately then I heard a voice in my head that said "Drink." and to my left there was a tall glass of water. I grabbed it and chugged and five seconds later I vomited in the trash can next to me and my high came down to a level that was tolerable and safe. A few seconds later, a portal like entity which looked identical to the top half of pic related appeared before me, except Christ wasn't standing in the middle and it was made of light instead of angels. I was intuitively aware that this was God. I could feel the touch of angels. I never told anybody and the entity stayed with me for the rest of the night until about noon the next day.

I have Christian faith but I have no idea what to do with this experience. Am I supposed to accept that I saw God or is that blasphemous?

I was so close to converting to Islam until a Christian friend of mine beat me over the head with arguments akin to what this image shows. At first I didn’t want to take them seriously, but the more I pondered it, the more troubling it became, and eventually through prayer, despite what I would have chosen myself, God revealed that I was to follow Jesus to me, and so I became a Christian. I am thankful that I was kept away from this religion. God bless

Daily reminder that Muhammad never talked with God, only some demon who LARPed as Gabriel and proceded to deny every central doctrine of Christianity 600 years later and made Jesus into a man who wasn’t crucified, didn’t die, didn’t die for sins and isn’t divine. Really makes me think.

2 Corinthians 11:14
>And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.

Galatians 1:8-9
>But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.

2 Peter 2:1-2
>But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves. Many will follow their depraved conduct and will bring the way of truth into disrepute.

And on Muhammad, the pedophilic caravan robber himself:
>Beware of false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. So then, by their fruit you will recognize them.

Your missing the point. I’m specifically and exclusively talking about prophetic mentions of Jesus Christ in the OT. They are remarkable in how closely they prefigure the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh, and how he would suffer, die and rise again for the sins of mankind. This is how we know that what is said in the NT is fully in line with the OT. The fact that these scriptures are well-attested and well-preserved is the cherry on top.

I do not recognize Muhammad as a prophet because he denies the divinity of Jesus Christ, his crucifixion, his resurrection and the fact that he died for our sins. In denying all the past scriptures (while paradoxically affirming what they pick-and-choose), Muhammad denies the prophecies, and is free to claim whatever he wants and baselessly say everything else is error and corruption. And again, Muhammad never spoke with God. The entire Qur’an is from an ‘angel’. Now think—why would an ‘angel’, six hundred years after Jesus Christ was crucified, appear to Muhammad in a cave and claim that all of the central doctrines of Christianity were false and that all of the scriptures that predict and confirm these things were all false and corrupt as well? I don’t say this to shitpost or be intentionally insulting, but Muhammad was deceived by Satan, and as St. Paul teaches in 2 Corinthians 11:14, even Satan can disguise himself as an angel of light. Even in the lives of the saints what seem to be angels appear to them and attempt to lead them astray with false messages and temptations, such as St. Anthony the Great, who endured intense spiritual warfare.

Jesus also teaches us to be aware of false prophets who will come in his name (Matthew 7:15-23) and to judge them by their fruits. Since Muhammad was a man of eleven wives, some of them taken from his adoptive son, one of them a little girl, and due to the fact that he lived like a warlord, even having groups like the Bani Ghifar go around a rob caravans for him, offering only to give it back if they affirmed God’s oneness and the prophethood of Muhammad. The fruits are bad.

So an interesting big picture forms. It would seem, if all these witnesses both ancient and contemporary are to be believed, that for some reason all these numinous beings, whether they be pagan gods or aliens, bow to the name of Jesus.

This, of course, because gods and aliens are mere disguises of the evil spirits. Christianity strips down the false mythologies; it brings everything to light.

Now don't get me wrong. It's fine to read Homer and Hesiod. On the whole there is a charm and even an innocence to the pagan fables. They might indeed be a way of "making sense of the world", as scholars are fond of saying. And of course, Genesis itself is obviously a myth. Truth revealed through symbols.

But in the end, when you get to the bottom of it, under the frenzied and colorful spectacle of all the pagan myths, these gods, these spirits to whom the pagans offered their dances and their ritual sacrifices, are demons.

This is something of a sinister subject, and maybe it's a good idea to not spend too much time dwelling on it. I believe in demons, I believe that pagan gods and aliens are just demons, and this because they all bow to the name of Christ. Not to any other god, but to Christ. And this seemingly observable fact reinforces my Christian faith.

Again, I think it's good not to dwell on the demonology side of theology too much. It's probably not very healthy spiritually. My point with this thread and the previous thread was just to present one of the reasons I believe Christianity to be the true religion.
