I got the impression that A.W wasn’t teaching anything remotely like ‘’Trust the Universe’’, maybe his mantra would be more akin to ‘’You are the Universe, then take it from there’’ or something like that. I initially found him very pessimistic along with the Zen guys, there’s nothing you can or cannot do to eventually raise above your predicament and reach final everlasting happiness. I.E New job? Now you just want the next higher paying job in the future. Sad? You will only get agitated trying to not feel sad. Fully embracing the moment, being here and now is the only solution, I.E releasing yourself from the endless cycle o file and death (or fixation on past and future). Then he further brain fucks you by implying you cannot meditate or do any sort of woo woo exercises to reach this magical ‘present’ moment, because your already in it!
