Hey guys I'm looking for some book recommendations. I'm looking for a specific type of books.

Since there have been so many 'team of guys' movies coming out this summer, (A Team, Expendables, Losers, ect) It kinda got me in the mood for a book like that.

Are there any book (preferably series) that deal with a team of people doing jobs or task in every volume? There doesn't have to be an overarching plot. Just the same guys and maybe some of it carries over.

I'd prefer to not have fantasy just because everyone will name LOTR and similar titles. I'd prefer Sci-fi, or modern if possible.
