It’s so hard to understate the extent to which Americans concerned about liberal notions of progress have been correct, the numbers are already in: Nothing has worked and everyone is more miserable then ever. Race relations are worse, diversity is sham, The loss and meaning of relationships/marriage in a post patriarchal world is shows the consequences of its devastation. But yet the great mystery of our time, really is a (very large) group of people who somehow never change their allegiance to the status quo power arrangement, no matter what happens.

For posts like this, that attempting to refute or mock conservatives, wind up vindicating the Right. This post basically says that conservatives were right then, so they are correct now given todays circumstances. The Right is not attacked for being wrong, it is attacked for being correct. So if progressives feel that they benefit from homosexuals having the right to marry, and state enforced homosexuality benefits them, then they better fight tooth and nail for heterosexuality, or else all those “Religious nuts” from those bygone days were correct.

I can sense the fatigue, if anyone is to get far in this miserable country they need to buckle down and find the will for them and their decedents to survive. For most people on the Right, this would be Religion; Islam actual gets the best of both worlds: better political treatment for being non-white, and having their religion being respected.

The “Late Soviet" energy is strong lately. The loud speaker is turned up to 11 and the propaganda to 12 and it feels like most people have stopped taking it seriously, including people who pretend to believe in it.
