I'm trying to worm my way out of it. I view it as a sort of life goal, because I've got an incredibly long way to go. I'm convinced that I have the potential, most people have it, but more often than not my persistent laziness, born from the fact that I never had to work a day in my life, gets in the way.
I need to get good at something, anything I have interest in. That's all I want, then I'll stop considering myself mediocre. And to reach my oddly high standards, I need to get rid of my crippling lack of self discipline and/or willpower. I've yet to read a book that teaches me how to do it faster.
