I realized that everything we see, every animal on earth, every moment in history, every form of pain or pleasure, every profound thought, every great work of art, all of it, was only possible because some fish decided to walk on land millions of years ago.
It's not just a meme anymore. Sometimes i lay awake at night and my cat sleeps on me, and i think that we both have a common ancestor in Tiktaalik. And when i go shopping or go to the gym, or when i go to work and am on transit, i realize that all the people there are all descended from a walking fish. Whenever i see a gorgeous girl or listen to someone influential or intelligent, I cannot help but see them as the progeny of a walking fish. When i go to the park, i know that pretty much every person and animal i see are all there because of him. When i watch the news, i know that even the grandest of political events, all wars, all millitary conflicts, every genocide, every religion, it's all there because of him.

I realize now that Satan in Genesis was never a talking snake, but a walking fish. He ate the fruit by going on land, and he doomed us all to exist.
