Jews somehow making up a quarter (and the most influential) of the current "elites" despite being a shadow of the yids of 1950s (who did show competence) is very real and done through layers of nepotism. The "safe" allies they find in brown, black and white women only empower them more.
The number of whites accepted into elite institutions is minuscule when removing Jews. They are underrepresented by a factor of more than three compared to ability in upper class colleges, and Asians are only slightly less discriminated. That doesn't even take into account the gender issue. All to make room for those 25% of Jews, 15% of darkies and 55% of women there. This academic situation translates to many domains.
A meritocracy in the US for young people would be 70%+ white gentile, 5%- Jews, 20%+ Asian, and overwhelmingly male. Instead it's a quarter Jewish plus 35% useful allies.
In politics it used to be more subtle because the Jews were acting through shabbos, but in the biden administration you have something ridiculous like 1/3 of white house staff fully kosher.
The current kvetching against meritocarcy is nothing but the already established judeo-vaginal coalition protecting its privileged position against the timid attempts at takeover by some Chinese, Indians and the remnants of the White male natural aristocracy.

Technically, the various racial categories all get their affirmative action. It's just that Jews get to take up all the slots for white non-hispanic non-Jews. Firstly, it assumes that the current position of high influence is actually the result of meritocratic efforts. The American Myth of Meritocracy by Ron Unz' has significant data to suggest otherwise. Even relative to the Jewish number of "high achieving high school students" (which around 3x more likely to be, due in no small part to the IQ difference) Jews are over represented in the institutions of the elite by 200-400% depending on the institution.

The system without undue Jewish influence would likely be fairly similar to the US pre-1960. There would likely be more ethnic segregation, localized traditional culture, an understanding of rights being a localized phenomena requiring a collective to protect it (rather than some unjustifiable universalist thing as many Jewish intellectuals believe), and likely racialized collectivization would be present for whites as it was prior to the ascent of Judaism in America post-WW2.

I generally agree with you that there probably isn't anything "special" about Judaism, either as an ethnicity or as a religion, outside of any standard sociological explanations. Sure, they're relatively intelligent, cosmopolitan, academic, etc., and this influences their liberal outlook, but the net result is just more liberals in government, who happen to use ethnic bias to their advantage. In other words, I don't buy the Culture of Critique argument that there are Jewish ideas, Jewish evolutionary strategies, etc. Whatever Jews are pushing, WASP elites are pushing too for reasons of control and sadism.

But regardless, Jews are still extremely overrepresented, even when adjusting for merit, which means they are crowding out a majority of the population from having the voice in society that they deserve. None. Jewish over-representation by population and merit is a foregone conclusion at this point. Only wishful thinking rules it otherwise.

The key to determining whether there is overrepresentation by merit is to look at the distribution of IQ within the United States, and when it comes to Ashkenazi Jews, the measurements are all over the place (though far from the extremes necessary to rule out nepotism). The highest estimates of Jewish IQ are from people like Kevin MacDonald, who puts the number at 117, and that's because he has a particular narrative about "Jewish insidiousness" as an "evolutionary strategy" that he wants to push. I personally don't find MacDonald to be convincing. Most of the studies that I've seen, post The Bell Curve, place the number somewhere around 105-110, and the SD around 10-13. With those numbers, and with the current population of Ashkenazi Jews, you get 3-5x the number of high IQ, non-Jewish whites compared to high IQ Jews. And yet, Jews outnumber whites at Ivy League schools, which allows them to crowd-out the vast majority of the country in important national institutions.

It is clear as day that Jews are overrepresented unfairly. A massive amount of the country doesn't have a voice in government while 3% of the population has an overwhelming influence. And something needs to be done about it before the ethnic, class, racial tensions start tearing our country apart.
