NIGGER? Did you just say NIGGER? Really? In the year 2023, you're saying NIGGER? Just straight up saying NIGGER? You think any level of irony can make up for the fact that you're just saying NIGGER? Have you ever heard a Black person describe how being called a NIGGER makes them feel? Do you even know the complex history of the word NIGGER? Do you know that the word NIGGER is as old as this country, even older? That the word NIGGER has been used to colonize and oppress for centuries? And you think you can just slap NIGGER in the title of your book, for cheap shock value? As if you could reappropriate NIGGER for any purpose. NIGGER is a tainted word. There is no excuse for saying NIGGER. I don't ever want to hear you say NIGGER again, Tara.
